The Perry County Courthouse was built beginning in February 1904. The cornerstone laying ceremony was conducted June 4, 1904. The two-story brick building was designed by architect J. W. Gaddis of Vincennes, Indiana. The building continues to serve as the county courthouse and is in very good condition.
