TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, a limestone structure with slender white steeple and recessed doorway, was built in 1867, replacing an older building now used as a school. The interior has a barrel vaulted ceiling long side galleries supported by Doric columns, and a small round pulpit with hood set high in the wall. - Missouri: A Guide to the "Show Me" State, Tour 11, pg. 524.

Trinity Lutheran Church is much as described in the Guide.  The old church has now been incorporated into the Lutheran Heritage Center and Museum and a new school building has been built.   The church is in excellent condition and is well maintained. The church building continues to serve its active congregation.
