In Natick, along Main Street and north of Mass. Route 9, is the North Cemetery.
The cemetery is located about 0.4 miles north of the intersection of Route 9 and is on the right side of the road. It is a smallish lot. It might be better to park at the Dunkin' Donuts store just to the north of the cemetery and walk back, rather than try to drive in.
The North Cemetery dates back to about 1741, according to a small plaque - image posted on findagrave.com - I had missed it. Again, findagrave.com estimates 280 graves at this cemetery, which seems about right.
The graves that I saw dated back to just before 1800 to the present day. Two of the older families that are commonly found here are the Bacons and the Felches. Some of these have flags and markers that identify them as Revolutionary War veterans. Other grave markers identify veterans of the U.S. Civil War and World War II. In the back, there is a plot for a family that used to own apple orchards nearby. The area has now been fully developed - no apple orchards exist - this is the only testament of there existence.
