The Living Museum Art Center at Harbor View House is a dynamic program modeled after the Living Museum at Creedmoor’s Psychiatric Center in New York. The program strives to enhance the creative expression of the mentally ill by providing an opportunity to work professionally in painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, drawing and mixed media.
The goal of the Living Museum Art Center is to provide a therapeutic environment that allows full expressive involvement in the visual arts and promotes the artists’ work in professional and alternative spaces within the Los Angeles art community. Artwork is available for purchase.
