This water crossing is at the intersection of Caribou National Forest Road 22 and 36 near Big Springs Campground, north of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

Pebble Creek runs through Big Springs Campground, which is north of Lava Hot Springs on Old Highway 30. Caribou National Forest Road 36 heads west from Old Highway 30. Almost three miles in on this graded dirt road is the turnoff to Caribou National Forest Road 22. The crossing is immediately after the left hand turn. It is commonly used by off road vehicles.
