Braum's is open year-round, thanks to its being warm in this part of the country. Besides being a place to get great hand-dipped ice cream or soft, frozen yogurt, their burgers are miles ahead of the other fast food chains, often featuring local add-ons like jalapeños or chipotle sauce. The most important stuff, of course, is the ice cream. They make 120 flavors, with 24 of them available in a given store, ranging from hand-dipped ice cream to sherbet to frozen yogurt. If a cup or a cone isn't your thing, they also serve up floats, shakes, malts, sundaes, freezes, mixes, old fashioned sodas, and probably the most popular item, banana splits.
