This spring house is located at Strada Rondonico in the steep slope of the hill north of the historic center of Ascona. The spring is in the niche in the back wall of the structure followed by a small square basin. The site is protected by a roof built with row local granite like many of the nearby houses. It looks like recently renovated.
Today it is in the middle of a residential zone and the spring is purely decorative, but in centuries gone by, there were vineyards in this area, and most probably this spring was used to irrigate the plantations.
