This large boundary stone - located on the A4067 main road to Brecon from Swansea, marks the boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park. located in Wales, Great Britain.

"Mountains and moorlands, standing stones and castles, high waterfalls and vibrant communities, the Brecon Beacons National Park has so much to offer visitors whether you are planning an activity-packed holiday, or a relaxing break.

The National Park was established in 1957 and covers approximately 520 square miles of south/mid Wales. We have the tallest mountain in southern Britain, Pen y Fan at 886m, whilst having our own history, mythology and heritage.

Scratching beneath the surface, the rocks of our National Park tell their own story. So unique are they, that the western area of the National Park has now been designated as a Geopark.
