The Aztec Boarding House dates to the heydays of Tombstone. It was noted to be a higher end boarding house. Some of the guests were the first on scene and witnesses to the events of the "Shootout at the OK Corral" as the shootout took place catty corner across Freemont Street from the boarding house.

Most recently the building had been used as an antique shop called Aztec House however the building now appears to be vacant.
