Mary Bryan was one of the first pioneer women to cross to the Cumberland Mountains in about 1776. She and her husband Samuel came to Perry Township in 1830 and are buried here. The cemetery seems to be the victim of vandalism or earth movement toppling markers. When you visit there is a geocache here of the same name - GCPC9V by JeepinJeff
