Perrydale is a small, unincorporated community of about 60 people in the immediate vicinity in northern Polk County, Oregon. The town is named for William Perry, an early landowner. It is located about ten miles northwest of Salem and contains a K-12 school and a Baptist church. The area served as a center for railroad shipping of agricultural goods until truck transportation diminished its importance. Nearby are the Perrydale Hills, a wine-producing area.
