The building was built circa 1909. It housed two different shoe stores during its history. In the 1930’s to the 1940’s “Watt” Johnson Shoe Store occupied the building and in 1953 Bruce’s Shoe store operated here until 1970. The first word in the ghost sign can not be read however shoe store is legible.
