This is an interesting milestone, not only because it's relatively old (they don't place them anymore) but because it shows a road which doesn't exist there anymore. In fact, the National Road 125 (EN 125) used to pass here, but its course was changed a long time ago so it wouldn't cross the city center. Now it's a modern road, more a motorway, circling Faro.
