The Place: Concrete stadium with permanent seats, natural turf field and lights for night games. Seating capacity is 1534. Opened in 2001. In 2012, college baseball writer Eric Sorenson ranked the field as the fifth best setting in Division I baseball.

The Person: Named for former Mustang catcher Robin Baggett. While at Cal Poly Baggett was not only a two time all conference catcher, he also won MVP honors. Outside of his sports achievements he also served as student body president. After his Cal Poly days he went on to law school, later becoming a highly successful lawyer and also a winery owner, owning wineries in the Napa Valley and the San Luis Obispo area.
