Seks lurer: I 1797 fandt bonden Ole Pedersen tre lur-par i Brudevælte Mose ved Fuglerupgård i Lynge. Dette er det største og berømteste lurfund fra Danmarks bronzealder.

Fem af disse lurer udstilles på Nationalmuseet i København. Den sjette Brudevæltelur blev under indviklede diplomatiske og udenrigspolitiske manøvrer i 1845 foræret til den russiske tsar Nikolaj I. Denne lur befinder sig fortsat på Eremitagemuseet i Skt. Petersborg.

De ca. 3.000 år gamle bronzelurer fra Brudevælte er så velbevarede, at man stadig kan spille på dem.

I dag er der et informationsskilt nær findestedet, som fortæller om lurfundet.

Six lurs: In 1797 a peasant by the name of Ole Pedersen found three lur-pairs in Brudevælte Bog by Fuglerupgård in Lynge. This is the largest and most famous lur-findings from the bronze age in Denmark.

Five of these lurs are on display at the National Museum in Copenhagen. In 1845 the sixth lur from Brudevælte was presented as a gift to the Russian tsar Nikolaj I. This lur still is kept at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Today the apx. 3,000 years old bronze-lurs from Brudevælte are in such a fine condition that they still can be played.
