buried at Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu. Awards includ Silver Star, a Purple Heart, 4 air medals, oakleaf cluster, Distinguished Flying Cross; He is credited for downing 17 enemy aircraft and hold the record at the Air Aces Museum in Mesa AZ.
