Franklin Borough Veteran's Memorial - Johnstown, Pennsylvania
This monument was dedicated in 1993 by the residents of Franklin Borough as a honor to those residents of Franklin who served our great country. Listed on this memorial is the late Sargent Michael Strank, one of six individuals who raised the flag during World War II at Iwo Jima. The for the Sgt. Strank Historical Marker is also at this site.
