The Aeroporto do Pico (Pico Airport), is an regional airport located 8 km (5 mi) from Madalena on Pico Island in the Archipelago of the Azores and was opened in 1982. It features one asphalt runway with 1760 meters length. It has scheduled domestic flights to the islands of São Miguel and Terceira as well to Lisbon. In 2011 the airport served a total of 65,000 passengers.
The airport offers a small cafeteria, a small souvenir shop, a desk of the tourism information and several car rental counters. Inside the building you'll find a free Wi-Fi Hotspot.
