This is a listed building. The listing states Shingle spire of an 8 sided cone placed over a pyramid, built 1915 after an explosion. As can be seen from the photos, it's somewhat lopsided.
This is one of two such spires in the country, the other being the chuch of St Mary the Virgin in Bexley, also in Kent.
