We reached the area from Nassau Street, between Railroad Street and Boyd Street. The tower is easily seen. I was not able to find out how it received the name, but this is the name given to it in the benchmark database, where it has the PID of BT2173.

The 1943 description from the datasheet reads:

01/01/1943 by CGS (FIRST OBSERVED)

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943 (GWL) THE STATION IS THE TOP OF THE APEX OF THE PIKE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STANDPIPE. IT IS A CYLINDRICAL STANDPIPE PAINTED ALUMINUM COLOR ABOUT 60 FEET HIGH. IT IS LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF BRUNDIDGE ON A HILL KNOWN LOCALLY AS HIGH SCHOOL HILL. A TRAVERSE CONNECTION WAS MADE TO TRIANGULATION STATION BRUNDIDGE.
