There are two huge wooden carvings in Zelasko Park, in Aberdeen, Washington. The park also features a war memorial, and the park is viewed daily by hundreds of motorists, as it is located adjacent state route 12.

This sculpture is created from a huge log which has begun to split from weathering and age. The sculpture depicts a logger, which represents an important part of the history of Grays Harbor county, as this was an important timber producing area, supplying a large portion of the United States with timber from 1900-1980.

Both of the wooden carvings in Zelasko Park are by the same artist, Louis Benanto Jr, and were created in 1971. Both of the logs are listed as "bridge posts" in the Aberdeen Urban Art on the Map brochure. The artist has additional carvings on display in Aberdeen, including the Grays Harbor College Mascot, called Charlie the Choker (carved in 1975) and a carving of a bobcat in a large log (also at Zelasko Park, carved 1971), a religious figure carving at Aberdeens' Sam Benn Park (carved 1974).
