This mark is cut into a stone pillar that supports railings at the junction of Winsland Street and Praed Street at St Mary's Hospital.

The mark can be found easily using the OS description. It is on a square stone post on the Winsland Street face. The stone is rather dirty probably from traffic pollution. The top of the arrow has "faded" probably due to weathering and possibly pressure washing at some time in the distant past.
