Ancestry.com states that Cordelia Pruitt was born in 1881 in Mincy, Taney, Missouri. Cordelia married Andrew Brown Moore on April 16, 1902. From her daughter Venice Cordelia Moore Dryden's obituary, the family moved to Oregon around 1912. Cordelia, her husband Andrew and other family members owned and operated the Baldwin Hotel in Klamath Falls from 1923 to 1951. This hotel is now known as the Baldwin Museum and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Cordelia died in 1983 and is buried alongside her husband in Klamath Memorial Park.
