Prissy Polly's is a NC Piedmont treasure. The BBQ is excellent, and you can get both Lexington style (the good kind) or Eastern style (the better kind). They offer a slew of side items ranging from slaw (both sweet and bbq) to fried okra, brunswick stew to collards.
Prices are reasonable: as of 7/11/2006, a BBQ sandwich is $2.89 and a BBQ plate with 2 sides is $5.75 for a regular, $6.95 for a large. They also offer take-out, including a large family meal of 2 pounds of BBQ, 3 pints of veggies, 2 dozen hushpuppies, and 1 quart of banana pudding for $26.95.
