This is a great museum, highlighting “The Golden City” rich mining history. For a nominal fee you can have a guided tour of the exhibits, gold panning, and all that it has to offer, plus take time to see all the exhibits inside the museum.

The Visitor’s Centre is located at this location, and offers a wide selection of informational pamphlets, maps and answers to all your questions.

You should be able to visit this dedicated bench at any time. However, during November to May the museum is closed for the winter season and the bench may be taken inside.
