This restaurant does a lot of business with tour buses full of tourists that stop in unanounced so it is understandable that food or service might be uneven at times. I visited when there were very few customers and was very impressed!! The brisket that I had was about the best that I have ever eaten. It was very moist, temder, and smoked to perfection. The Carolina Sauce, different from any other Carolina Sauce that I have ever tasted, was so good that I wanted to buy a tanker truckload to take home with me.
