"The city, fifth largest in Indiana and largest on the Ohio River west of Louisville, covers 11 square miles of land-level except for a number of hills in the northwest section. From the lofty roadway of the Evansville-Henderson Bridge in the southeast, or from the high hills of the fashionable Forest Hills section in the west, the great horseshoe bend of the city's water front can be seen in its entirety..."

Indiana: A Guide to the Hoosier State (P. 187)

This waymark is a bit confusing as it is listed as being in Kentucky (accurate) but it is listed as a location in the guide book for Indiana. The entire bridge is actually in Kentucky as the state line in about 1 mile north of the bridge. The bridge was built in 1936 and still in constant use as the only crossing location to Kentucky for over 25 miles. US Highway 41 is what road that uses the bridge.
