[DE] Unmittelbar an der Dill gelegen, schützte der Turm den nordöstlichen Eckpunkt der Stadtbefestigung. Der Turm wurde nach dem Stadtbrand von 1904 rekonstruiert.

[EN] Located directly at the river Dill, the tower protected the northeastern corner of the city wall. The tower was rebuilt after the great fire of Herborn in 1904.
