Visitors to the Palm Springs Air Museum might notice a memorial walk (one of two) located in front of the museum. This memorial walk contains brick pavers that lead to a bronze sculpture of a Navy WWII pilot gesturing as he gives a debrief on a sortie he just flew. At the base of the sculpture is a plaque that memorializes those who served in WWII 1943-1945 and donated by the 405th Fighter Group. There is also a flyer handout next to the memorial walk that asks visitors to help the Air Museum to support their youth educational programs and facilities.
