On November 29, 2009, Sergeant Mark Renninger and Officers Tina Griswold, Ronnie Owens and Greg Richards were having coffee when they were ambushed and killed. This is one of a few memorials in their honor. It is located just outside the Lakewood Police Department in Lakewood, WA.
