Barokní hranicní kámen ve tvaru komolého jehlanu, vytesaný z hrubozrnné žuly, o výšce 4,88 m, oznacuje hranici mezi Cechami a Moravou, jak byla stanovena Marií Terezií roku 1750. Na území Jihlavy jsou celkove ctyri. Vytvoril je známý sochar Viktor Václav Morávek z Polné (1715 až 1779). Motivem jejich vztycení byla snaha po rešení vleklého sporu o prubehu cesko-moravské zemské hranice v oblasti Jihlavy. Na príslušné strane jej zdobí znaky obou zemí (lev a orlice), na jednotlivých stranách podstavce lze najít latinské nápisy: „Hranice mezi Cechami a Moravou“, „Postaveno roku 1750“, „Tímto rozhodnutím urcili v r. 1750 hranici mezi Cechami a Moravou“, „Za Marie Terezie mající vládu v království Ceském“. Na vrcholu jehlanu bývala ješte kamenná koule, ta se však na žádném z hranicníku nedochovala.

Baroque border stone in the shape of a truncated pyramid, carved from coarse-grained granite, with a height of 4.88 meters, marks the boundary between Bohemia and Moravia, as established by Maria Theresa 1750. On the territory of Jihlava are four such. Created by the famous sculptor Viktor Vaclav Moravek from Policka (1715-1779). The motive of their erection was to address the protracted dispute over the Czech-Moravian provincial boundaries in Jihlava. On the side it is decorated with emblems both countries (lion and eagle) on each side of the stand can be found in Latin inscriptions: "The border between Bohemia and Moravia", "Built in 1750", "The decision specified in the 1750 border between Bohemia and Moravia "" Under Maria Theresa having the government in the Czech Kingdom ".
