Na míste románského kostelíka, postaveného pred r. 995, vystaven Anoštem z Pardubic gotický kostel. Barokne byl prestaven v letech 1670–79 italským stavitelem Pietrem Spinettim. Vež pristavena r. 1727. Opraven pocátkem 21. století.

On the site of the Romanesque church, built before the year 995, Gothic church was builed by archbishop Arnošt from Pardubice. Rebuilt in Baroque style in 1670-1679 by the Italian architect Pietro Spinetti. Tower built in 1727.
