Das Bienertkraftwerk ist ein kleines Wasserkraftwerk an der Weißeritz in Dresden-Plauen. Es wurde 1999-2000 gebaut und nutzt ein Wassergefälle von ca. 5m um eine Kaplan-Rohr-Turbine anzutreiben. Diese kann eine max. Leistung von 200kW erzeugen. Das Kraftwerk wurde bei der Jahrhundertflut 2002 stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen.
The Bienert power plant is a small hydroelectric power plant on the Weisseritz in Dresden-Plauen. It was built from 1999-2000 and uses a water drop of about 5m to drive a Kaplan bulb turbine. This generates a maximum power of 200kW. The power plant was hit hard during the flood in 2002.
