This landmark sugar maple is located at the Heritage Square Museum in Ontario, New York. The tree is right next to Ontario Center Road and is along a property boundary which is probably why it has been left untouched for so long. Measured on December 17, 1996 it has a girth of 17’ 10” circumference or 62” diameter at 4 1/2’, a height of 76 feet, and a spread of 79 feet. It is 368 years old.
