The Carlton Hotel is now a bar, no longer a hotel, on the eastern side of the Perth CBD. The exterior of the Hotel is well maintained, and contains a range of art deco motifs. The interior is not so kind to the eye, looking just a tad worn. The Hotel was constructed in 1928. According to the Perth City Council website, there are plans underway to refurbish the Hotel.
