Bear Creek Dog Park was established in 1997 in response to citizens and park patrons as an off-leash voice command dog park. The Dog Park is approximately 25 Acres and currently is fenced on three sides of the park with the final portion of fencing to be installed second quarter 2006. With Bear Creek running along the south side, pet owners are able to allow their dogs to drink from the mountain creek.
