This is the so-called 'Schnetztor' which is located in the center of Konstanz, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's listed in the German Monument Registers since 1978. It is presented on an old picture taken around 1900.

This is the so-called 'Schnetztor' which is located in the center of Konstanz, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's listed in the German Monument Registers since 1978. It is presented on an old picture taken around 1900.
The Schnetztor is one of the three still existing gates of the fortification of Konstanz. The has been 27 gates originally.
It was built in the 14th century. The bell tower on top is from the 15th century.
1976-1986 is was totaly renovated by the local carneval club. It's their club room.
