The Doctor's Building was designed by the firm of Dougherty and Gardner in an Renaissance style. The building was constructed in two stages. The first three stories were built in 1916 with the upper three floors added in 1921 due to the success of the building. The building was the location of many of the doctors offices for the city. By 1924 the building had 73 doctors' offices. The building has now been converted to a suites hotel.
