From the Coquille town web site:
The City of Coquille is the Coos County seat and is nestled in a beautiful valley, set between the I-5 corridor and the Pacific Ocean along the beautiful Coquille River.
The town offers many quaint shops, a one of a kind entertainment experience at the Sawdust Theatre, an annual Gay 90's celebration (celebrating our city's history which dates to the 1890's, and a 22 acre site which will soon begin development.
We are currently working on a number of exciting economic development opportunities including Downtown Revitalization, Technology Expansion projects, Workforce Development issues, Youth Programs, and Strategic Planning initiatives.
We offer an incredible quality of life with moderate climate, affordable housing, quality schools, advanced health and dental care including a modern hospital and medical clinic, vacant land packages abound and are ready for development, industrial property located within an Enterprise Zone, diverse recreational opportunities, and are within 20 minutes of the celebrated Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and within 30 minutes of Southwestern Oregon Community College.
We offer a great place to raise a family, locate or start a business, and a supportive community environment with quality educational and health care components.
