The University of Memphis has been known as the Tigers for a long time - but until now, did not have a sculpture of their mascot, Tom. This is actually a portrait of the school's live Bengal tiger mascot, also named Tom, who is escorted to home football games by state police and rides in a climate controlled, sound proofed glass-fronted cage.
