The old North East Valley Post Office has a new life as the Tourist Shop for the famous attraction "Worlds Steepest Street, Baldwin Street".

Listed on the Historic Trust Register, the old North East Valley Post Office is now a Tourist Shop for the Baldwin Street claim as Worlds Steepest Street. After walking up the street, you can visit the shop and purchase a certificate to prove your feat. It is now also known as the Best Souvenir Shop in town.
