This mural is painted on the west side of the Mo-Ha Market Building, at the corner of Main and Marshall in downtown Anderson, Missouri.

Measuring 20' wide x 12' tall, this mural depicts the early history of Anderson, and the folks who started the community.
On the far left, the agricultural heritage of the town is depicted by a large farm. Also, the railroad heritage is portrayed with the Kansas City Southern locomotive, as the KCSRR cuts right through the center of town.
In the center of the mural, a large "family tree" with the surnames of the original settlers is depicted. There are approximately 75 names listed throughout the branches of the tree.
Finally, on the far right is a portrayal of one of the many spring-fed lakes that populate the area. Natural springs abound in the Ozarks, and Anderson is no exception to that rule. They are a source of fresh water in this region.
This is a wonderful mural, and WELL-worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
