ORGAN _PIPEAZ2007 CORS ARP P001 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

When I asked the Rangers at the Monument Visitor Center, the expert said he thought that the CORS had been removed. So it was up to me to find it. According to my GPS, it's about 0.3 miles directly South of the Visitor Center. I found a parking area, East of the road to the major campground, just North of the Latitude of the CORS and parked there; proceeding on foot past the locked gate (which prevents only vehicles from proceeding)to the station. I later learned (when I reported to the rangers that the station exists and is operating normally) that there's a trail that runs from the Visitor Center to the campground that goes right by the station. That's the way I would recommend any searchers to access the station, just go from the Visitor Center on the sidewalk to the South, and cross the street at the crosswalk; follow the path about 1/3 mile to the station (it's the easiest way to get to it).
