Now operated by Great Sand Hills Terminal Ltd., this is a former Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator, built in 1966. Great Sand Hills is a grain handling company formed in 1995 to construct and operate a high-throughput grain handling facility.
This elevator is now used only for extra capacity, as Great Sand Hills Terminal Ltd. now has a large concrete terminal near Leader.
