Als das Foto 1950 aufgenommen wurde, war hier noch die Endhaltestelle der Straßenbahnlinie 3, der Blick fällt auf die Straßenecke Oelmühlenstraße / Heimweg. Heute ist die Straße doppelt so breit, der Standort des Fotografen liegt jetzt in Straßenmitte auf dem Hochbahnsteig der Stadtbahn, die inzwischen in mehreren Ausbaustufen bis nach Stieghorst verlängert wurde. Das Haus rechts hat sein Aussehen durch zahlreiche Umbauten stark verändert und lässt sich erst nach genauer Betrachtung als dasselbe wie damals identifizieren.

When the photo was taken in 1950, this was the terminal of line #3 of the old Bielefeld tramway, the view is towards the corner of Oelmuehlenstrasse and Heimweg. Today, the street here is twice as wide and the location for the photographer is now in the middle of the street, right on the elevated platform of the new Stadtbahn light urban railway system, which in several steps has been extended as far as Stieghorst. The house on the right has undergone several modifications that changed its appearance considerably, but basically it's still the same building.
