This is an almost roadside beacon alongside a private toll road "Komati Kortpad" south of Komatipoort. You can either ask at the farmhouse if you can visit the beacon, or cross the river and you'll see it looking back.

The beacon appears to be complete and in good condition.
Please not that a nominal toll is payable to use the Komati Kortpad (R8 in Jan 2013).

Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
