Krka Nationalpark is one of the most famous nationalparks of Croatia. It stands in one line with the parks of Plitvice and the Kornati Islands. Its easy to reach with the boat or bus from Skradin. An entrance fee is recomended, transport included.

The Krka Nationalpark is along the river Krka. It is very famous for its beautiful waterfalls, lakes and carst landscape. The Nationalpark was formed in 1955. The Krka river is about 70 kilometers long. The part between the city of Knin and the village Skradin (about 25 kilometers long is the Nationalpark.

There are some spectacular waterfalls and a lot of small boardwalks along carstic waterbasins. The most famous waterfall is called Skradinski Buk (Koordinates)near the main Entrance from Skradin. At the upper part of Krka NP there are boats to other sights like f.e. the old franciscan monastery of Visovac at Visovac Island in the Lake with the same name or some fortresses.
