According to a sign at the church, the building was constructed in 1885 and the church has been "Recognized for Preservation by the Decatur County Historical Society." The church is a small, white, wood building constructed in the Carpenter Gothic architectural style. The front door is painted a bright red, and above the door is a bell tower bearing a single bell and a cross on top.
