Noble County Veterans Memorial - Caldwell, Ohio
This monument is located in the courthouse square in Caldwell, the county seat of Noble County, Ohio, the "youngest" county in the state. The monument, like many in the state are simple at best and this one is no exception. At the top of the monument are the words Noble County and in between those two words is the United States Seal, followed by the following wording:
Dedicated to the men
and women of Noble County
who served their country
in time of war and peace
On the footplate of the memorial is the seals for each branch of the Armed Forces. Below the monument is for Ohio's longest Living veteran of the Revolutionary War, he was 101 when he died. Also, a citizen's memorial to the late congressman of this area is located very close to this marker.
