The he-goat is the heraldic animal of the city. This is due to an old legend, for which a festival and a yearly trail is celebrated. The fountain is located at Herzog-Otto plaza and was designed by Theo und Klaus Rörig in 2000.
The photos were taken during Easter, when the fountain is decorated each year.
Der Geißbock ist das Wappentier von Lambrecht. Aufgrund einer alten Tradition gibt es hier regelmäßig ein Festival und jedes Jahr einen Marsch in den Nachbarort Deidesheim mit einem echten Geißbock, der dort versteigert wird. Der brunnen befindet sich auf dem Herzog-Otto-Platz, er stammt von Theo und Klaus Rörig aus dem Jahr 2000.
Die Fotos haben wir an Ostern gemacht, dann wird der Brunnen so schön geschmückt.
